Honoring Willie White

The Creative Alliance of New Orleans (CANO) is pleased to be able to present the largest known solo exhibition of Willie White’s work, only blocks from where he made and exhibited these works on his porch. His work reflects the powerful creative life of our city that CANO aims to better support by raising awareness of the cultural value of the work being produced here, and by attracting greater investment in the creative economy. This exhibition continues our series of exhibitions in our Creative Space at Myrtle Banks honoring the pioneers of Central City and other New Orleans neighborhoods.
