Sofia Olexia-Daigle, visual artist, attends New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), New Harmony High (NHH) and Young Aspirations Young Artist (YAYA Inc.). Much of her art leans towards ceramics, glass and mixed media with a large body of work celebrating women and their various representations in society. Sofia is motivated to create pieces that bring unity and joy to the community, regularly volunteering her time teaching youth who may otherwise not have access to the arts. She is passionate about sharing work that is unique, but also relatable and inspires others to view art as a way to tell their own stories.
