Dail Chambers is an ethnographic visual artist. Her work focuses on migration, women’s traditions and cultural development throughout the Midwest and South. She is proud of her southern roots, and lives between Mississippi and Saint Louis, Mo. Her work in New Orleans has been a motivation to her practice and the understanding of collective erasure, environmental issues, and river culture.
